About Us

The vision for Artists Up & Coming was first inspired by annual fundraisers entitled, "Young Artists Helping Young Artists," which occured in Honolulu, Hawaii. The purpose of these events was to promote the sale of student artwork along with fundraising for a meaningful cause; art therapy at the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific. The events gave students a unique opportunity to showcase and sell their artwork and to also have the rewarding opportunity to support the Rehabilitation Hospital of Pacific and their patients.

Artists Up & Coming aims to retain the core values of the Young Artists events by giving student artists experience, exposure, and the opportunity to earn money to support their talent. Artists Up and Coming also is dedicated to the mission of art therapy and the healing role it can play in an individual’s life.
